You may know him as Randall from NBC’s This Is Us, but you may not know that Sterling K. Brown grew up right here in St. Louis, MO. This fall, he swung by his hometown to film four new TV commercials with H/L to promote St. Louis tourism.
Our client, Explore St. Louis, recently changed their tagline to “Always Exploring,” an allusion to the breadth of attractions available to a visitor—everything from food and music to culture and family fun. As locals, we know and appreciate everything that makes our city special, but we were cognizant of the fact that the average tourist probably knows of only a few attractions like the Arch and the Cardinals. So we created a series of spots—with a trusted celebrity spokesman, someone “in the know”—who could enlighten potential travelers.
