H/L is in search of a Senior Account Executive to join our Account Services team. This is a hybrid role, with both office-based work at the H/L Oakland office and remote work.
What you’ll do:
- Track and maintain the Agency’s creative production workflow process, including opening jobs, writing creative briefs, managing creative kickoffs, and leading internal and client presentations
- Assist with the creative production process to drive momentum for our clients, including providing guidance for creative, media, and merchandising projects
- Supervise and train the Account Coordinator across various projects, as well as their work on client budgets and agency billing and the processing of invoices, job closings, and client estimates
- Accurately direct and address client expectations concerning budget, scope of work, timing, schedules, and processes
- Coordinate meetings with the Account team and client, as well as prepare documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals, and other client communications and correspondence
- Play an active role in the media planning and marketing calendar development, working with the Account Director
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally (e.g., clients, vendors, and promotional partners)
- Identify key aspects of data or problems to provide creative solutions
- Provide ongoing training/mentoring to junior team members by engaging them in processes, meetings, and deliverables
- Remain fully abreast of all potential brand influences by performing internet research, reading periodicals, attending presentations and advisory summits, and participating in formal and information group discussions or market research with potential influencers (i.e., doctors, sales representatives, consumers, etc.)
About you:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or a closely related discipline
- You have three to five years of experience in account management within an agency or marketing department, demonstrating increasing responsibilities and team management
- You have experience with various project types, including broadcast, OOH, print, digital, and social media, across creative, production, and media
- You are able to juggle multiple clients with competing priorities
- You are a problem-solver who approaches challenges with a positive attitude
- You have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic and measurable results through managing and executing marketing programs
- You are knowledgeable in the digital media space with a deep understanding of media and their platforms
- You have strong organization skills and attention to detail
- You have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and are able to regularly exercise judgment and discretion to manage projects

For SF Bay Area / CA based: H/L offers a projected compensation range for a position as an estimate of what the company believes is a reasonable pay scale. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $97,000 per year. The actual offer to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including the job’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s qualifications, budget availability, internal pay equity, geographic location, and external market pay rates for similar positions. These factors will determine the final compensation, which may vary within the stated range.
