On Monday, December 2, Ad Age and Automotive News released the winners of the 2024 Global Automotive Marketing Awards in which the Northern California Toyota Dealership Association brought home the win for Best Sales Event Campaign: Regional/Local. Ad Age points to the advertising campaign “Take It On” featuring well-known Northern California skier and Olympic gold medalist, Jonny Moseley as a prime example of how to leverage regional insights for brand affinity for Toyota and their vehicle’s unmatched reliability for winter driving. The campaign was shot on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe, a popular seasonal destination in Northern California.
