As 2016 came to a close, Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM) approached H&L Partners for help branding their new bar and restaurant concept in Westport. Housed in an old movie theater, this venue would combine small plates, craft cocktails, an epic sports-viewing experience, interactive games, live music, and karaoke with a classic, old-school vibe. As we dug into the project, we knew the gaming portion was unique—there wasn’t anything else like it in the city.
But we also knew that Westport Social was more than just games (or karaoke, or food and drink)—it was a vibe. The decor (and our design work) harkened back to a time when things were simpler, when people paid attention to each other, rather than their phones, and when things were crafted with care. Our tagline, Carpe Noctem (Latin for “Seize the Night”) spoke to the idea that, no matter what kind of night you were looking for, you could find it at Westport Social.
With 1000 visitors every weekend and over 200 private events scheduled in just the first four months, Westport Social has seized the spotlight. If you want to check it out, we’d be happy to meet you for a drink. Cheers.
