H/L is on the lookout for a media maven to join our dynamic Media team as a Senior Media Planner. If you live and breathe media, understand the latest trends, and can craft spot-on strategies and media plans for our clients, we want to hear from you! You’ll juggle day-to-day planning and reporting for multiple accounts while also guiding and inspiring our junior team members. Join us and help shape the future of media!

This role is open to candidates local to the Nashville, TN region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver strategic and innovative media plans for our clients, while monitoring their performance and providing rationale for the results
  • Provide target and competitive research and insights during strategy development using standard tools such as MRI, Scarborough, and Kantar
  • Lead developing client-facing deliverables, such as media recommendations and wrap-up reports
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams (Account, Creative, Analytics, Ad Operations) to facilitate flawless execution of media plans

Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or a closely similar discipline
  • You have three to five years of related experience in media planning, preferably in an agency
  • You have a proven ability to creatively develop and executive media plans that achieve positive results for clients
  • You have familiarity in both digital and traditional media, brand and direct-response advertising, local and national, and more
  • You have a strong working knowledge of MRI / Simmons, Kantar, Pathmatics, and reach-and-frequency (R/F) tools
  • You are proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
