We’re looking for the person who lives and breathes media. You know the emerging landscape, and can develop the right strategies and media plans for our clients. You can run day-to-day planning and reporting on several accounts, as well as manage multiple junior team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand clients’ business and marketing goals
  • Create holistic integrated media plans from start to finish
    • Determine media objectives
    • Craft strategies (leveraging research insights)
    • Manage RFP process
    • Negotiate with vendors
    • Work with channel experts to build plans to meet goals
    • Work with analytics team on KPI measurement approach
    • Present recommendations to clients
    • Ensure ongoing monitoring and optimizations
    • Identify and communicate clear, compelling, and actionable insights to drive improved campaign performance
    • Manage media budgets from planning to authorization to reconciliation
  • Participate in client meetings and new business
  • Provide thought-leadership on media industry updates both internally and to clients
  • Collaborate with and lead junior media team members
  • Overall, serve as a media lead on your assigned accounts, providing thought leadership on media strategy and activation to help clients reach their goals
  • Utilize Asana for project management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience as a Media Planner (3+ years in the industry, 2 years in a supervisory role)
  • Knowledge of all media tactics
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of standard media resources and tools
  • Must be disciplined enough to work independently and in team settings
  • Able to develop original ideas, take initiative, and assume responsibility
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Able to work well under pressure and strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, and impeccable multitasking abilities
  • Able to effectively mentor and develop the skills of junior team members
